  • CalCOFI 0707NH - 28 June - 14 July 2007: SIO New Horizon returned to San Diego 1200 14 July after successfully occupying all standard CalCOFI stations, 7 SCCOOS 20m stations, & recovering a Hildebrand HARP at 80.70.

    • 2005 CalCOFI Cruise Dates

  • CalCOFI 0501NH - 4 - 20 Jan 2005; Prospectus . Returned to San Diego Noon 20 Jan 2005.
    The sixty-six standard CalCOFI stations scheduled were completed.  CTD and Bongo sampling were successfully completed on nine additional SCCOOS 20m coastal stations.
  • CalCOFI 0501JD - 15 - 27 Jan on NOAA David Starr Jordan
  • CalCOFI 0504NH - 15 Apr - 1 May 2005 on SIO New Horizon Prospectus. SIO R/V New Horizon returned to San Diego May 1st after successfully completing all 75 scheduled stations. Contact Dave Wolgast (dwolgast@ucsd.edu) for additional info or data requests.
  • CalCOFI 0507NH - 1 - 17 Jul 2005; Prospectus. SIO RV New Horizon San Diego left San Diego on 1 Jul to survey the CalCOFI pattern, 6 transects(Lines 93-77) and 75 stations. The ship returned on 17 Jul 2005.
  • CalCOFI 0511NH - 4 - 21 Nov 2005; Prospectus. SIO RV New Horizon San Diego left San Diego on 4 Nov to survey the CalCOFI pattern, 6 transects(Lines 93-77) and 75 stations. The ship returned on 21 Nov 2005 after completing 72 stations; three were lost due to bad weather.
